Wall Street Journal: “BTS Lego – A Test of Influence and Marketability”
On Feb. 16th, The Lego Group announced on their official Twitter account that they will be releasing “BTS Dynamite Set”, inspired by the group’s “Dynamite” music video, online and offline on the 1st of next month.
In response, WSJ (Wall Street Journal) noted that because they have been on hiatus as of June last year as a group and been branching out as solo units, their Lego collaboration will serve as a good chance to test BTS’s brand influence.
They added, “This toy deal is one of the group’s first major collaborations since their members went solo. This new deal with Lego will put the K-Pop sensation’s historically strong influence to the test.”
