Twice, out of the top 100 in just one day after comeback.. Have they passed their prime?

On the 10th, Twice released their 12th mini album “Ready to Be” and made their comeback. Prior to the release, Twice had already pre-released their English single “Moonlight Sunrise” and on the day of the comeback, they released all of the album tracks including the title track “Set Me Free”, “Got the Thrills”, “Blame It on Me”, “Wallflower”, “Crazy Stupid Love”, and even the English version of the title track.

On the daily chart of Korea’s largest music streaming site, Melon, the title track “Set Me Free” recorded 83rd place on the day of release and then dropped to 101st place the next day. Currently, “Set Me Free” cannot be found in the top 100 and the same goes for other album tracks.

It was quite surprising that Twice’s title track fell out of the top 100 just one day after release and online people expressed disappointment in the song. There are also some reactions suggesting that perhaps their prime has passed, as they have been in the industry for a long time.
