NewJeans (뉴진스) achieved remarkable success at the Melon Music Awards 2023 (MMA2023), securing five awards, including the Grand Prize (Daesang), just 1 year and 4 months after their debut. The members—Minji, Hani, Daniel, Haerin, and Hyein—were honored with the awards for ‘Artist of the Year’ and ‘Best Song of the Year’ (Ditto) at the MMA2023 held on December 2 at Incheon Inspire Arena. Additionally, they received recognition in categories such as ‘Top 10,’ ‘Best Female Group,’ and ‘Million Top 10,’ totaling five awards.

Expressing gratitude during their acceptance speech for ‘Best Song of the Year,’ NewJeans said, “We have fond memories of healing when we first heard ‘Ditto,’ and we are pleased and thankful that the feelings we experienced are being conveyed to many people.
