Netflix is set to launch a real-life version of the hit series ‘Squid Game.’ According to Netflix on September 22 (local time), ‘Squid Game: The Challenge’ will be released on November 22.

This series, consisting of a total of 10 episodes, is produced by Studio Lambert, the same production company behind the American game show ‘The Traitors.’ The production team claims that they have transformed the popular Korean series into the largest-scale reality show ever.

While the contestants won’t be fighting for their lives like in the original ‘Squid Game,’ they will compete for a massive cash prize of $4.56 million (approximately KRW 60.9 billion), making it the largest prize in the history of reality TV shows.
