Mnet is launching a new vocal boy group project titled “Build Up: Vocal Boy Group Survival” in 2024. The project aims to build a completed vocal boy group through stages, focusing on current and former idol main vocalists.

Participants will undergo a unique survival format tailored to vocal groups, featuring both current and former idol main vocalists and talented individuals with unique skills, engaging in intense challenges. The project promises diverse vocal performances, showcasing unprecedented vocal techniques and tones.

Actress Lee Da-hee takes on the role of the sole MC, known for her stable hosting skills and witty commentary from her previous involvement with Mnet’s programs like ‘Queendom’ and ‘Road to Kingdom.’

“Build Up” plans to reach global audiences through Mnet in South Korea and major platforms globally, including Japan. The program is anticipated to generate high expectations for the creation of the ultimate vocal boy group.

The project is a collaborative effort among Mnet, Genie Music, and Orca Music, with the broadcast scheduled for the first half of 2024.
