BLACKPINK’s Lisa is set to take the stage at the renowned French cabaret ‘Folies Bergère’ in Paris, and fans are expressing their concerns about this upcoming performance.

Lisa is scheduled to perform at ‘Folies Bergère’ on the 28th and 29th of this month, making her the first K-pop idol to grace the stage of the iconic cabaret. In preparation for this event, Lisa departed from Incheon Airport on the 24th to make her way to Paris.

While fans are eagerly anticipating what kind of performance Lisa will deliver, there has been growing concern and discussion among fans about ‘Folies Bergère.’ ‘Folies Bergère’ is a cabaret that originated in 1951, founded by avant-garde artist Alain Bernardin. When ‘Folies Bergère’ performed in South Korea in 2015, the provocative scenes in their show led the Korean Media Rating Board to classify it as “Restricted for Youth.” The stringent physical standards that aspiring dancers must meet to perform at ‘Folies Bergère’ have also shocked many, as they are known for being quite explicit.
