Singer Lim Young Woong has risen to the top as the artist with the most 1st place titles on the 2023 Melon TOP 100, showcasing his unparalleled popularity.

Lim Young Woong’s new digital single, “Do or Die,” released on the 9th, secured the 1st place position on the Melon TOP 100 just three hours after its release. This achievement marks the fastest ascent to the Melon TOP 100 1st place spot among songs released this year, surpassing BTS’s “Yet to Come” (1 hour), Nuz’s “Ditto” (2 hours), and BEO’s “Counting Stars” (2 hours), making it the fourth fastest in history.

With “Do or Die,” Lim Young Woong has now claimed the 1st place position on the Melon TOP 100 for a total of three songs this year, including “Love Always Run Away” and “Grain of Sand.” This marks a record for the most 1st place titles on the Melon TOP 100 in 2023. Meanwhile, Lim Young Woong is set to embark on a nationwide solo concert tour following the release of “Do or Die.” The Seoul concert will be held at KSPO DOME on October 27, 28, 29, and November 3, 4, 5, while the Daegu concert will take place at Daegu EXCO East Exhibition Hall on November 24, 25, 26. Subsequently, the Busan concert will be held at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1 & 2 from December 8 to 10, the Daejeon concert at Daejeon Convention Center Exhibition Hall 2 on December 29, 30, 31, and the Gwangju concert at Kim Dae Jung Convention Center on January 5, 6, 7, 2024.
