Kwon Eun-bi, the Goddess of ‘Water Bomb’: Enjoying a Resurgence in 2023 with Fancams

On June 23, Kwon Eun-bi, also known as the ‘Goddess of Water Bomb,’ garnered significant attention from the public with her performance at the largest music festival in Korea, ‘Water Bomb Seoul 2023.’ She captivated the audience with her title track ‘Under Water’ from her mini 3rd album ‘Lethality.’

The stage presentation, featuring seasonal styling and fan performances, perfectly incorporated the ‘Water Bomb’ concept, earning high praise from fans and critics alike. Notably, Kwon Eun-bi proved her polished skills and stable live performances even amidst the water gun baptisms from the enthusiastic audience.

A fancam of her performance has become legendary, with comments like, “This is a fancam worthy of being called a legend,” “She doesn’t only rely on being sexy, and it’s great,” and “‘Water Bomb’ stage is one for the ages.” The video, posted on the YouTube channel ‘DaftTaengk,’ has already surpassed 3.63 million views (as of 9 a.m., the next day).

Furthermore, she has become the top choice for various performances and events. Last month, she concluded her successful performances at ‘Water Bomb Japan 2023’ in Nagoya and Tokyo. Additionally, she has secured a spot in the lineup for the upcoming ‘2023 Ulsan Summer Festival’ and ‘2023 CassCool Festival – Gwacheon.’

Her chart performance is also impressive. ‘Under Water,’ released in October last year, initially didn’t receive much attention but later climbed to an impressive peak position of 121 on Melon’s real-time top 100 chart. This is the highest achievement for Kwon Eun-bi since her solo debut, significantly surpassing the previous title track ‘Glitch,’ which peaked at 328.

Kwon Eun-bi’s star continues to rise as she captivates fans with her talents and charm, solidifying her position as a rising star in the music industry.
