Kep1er in Tears During Final Activity as a Complete Group After 2 Years and 6 Months

The group Kep1er has returned with their final album as a complete nine-member group, summarizing their 2 years and 6 months together.

On the afternoon of the 3rd, Kep1er held a showcase at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, to commemorate the release of their first full-length album, “Kep1going On.” During the showcase, they expressed their emotions and shed tears while discussing the release of their final album as a complete group.

Kep1er made their comeback to the music scene after approximately 9 months. Hikaru said, “It’s been about 9 months since our last comeback. We will strive to show our growth as much as you’ve waited for us.”

Ahead of the release of their first full-length album, Kep1er recently renewed their contract with Wake One and Swing Entertainment. The agencies stated, “We will actively support not only Kep1er’s future activities but also the musical growth of each member.” Kep1er’s contract renewal is significant as it is the first for an Mnet project group.

However, the contract renewal was agreed upon with Choi Yu-jin, Shen Xiaoting, Kim Chae-hyun, Kim Da-yeon, Hikaru, Huening Bahiyyih, and Seo Young-eun. Mashiro and Kang Ye-seo, on the other hand, concluded their activities with Kep1er. WakeOne and Swing Entertainment mentioned that they had in-depth discussions about future activities with Mashiro and Kang Ye-seo’s agencies but ultimately, the contract renewal was not finalized.
