Jennie Selected Among ‘2023’s Influential Women: Top 50

On the 6th of the past month, “Women’s Wear Daily (WWD)” selected Jennie as one of the 50 most influential women of the year.

The list of 50 includes CEOs of major companies, politicians, and notable figures leading the world of fashion and culture.

Prominent names like Puma’s Creative Director and Designer June Ambrose, and Francesca Amfitheatrof, Artistic Director of Watches and Jewelry at Louis Vuitton, are also on the list, making it quite an eye-catching lineup.

In response to this recognition, Jennie expressed her gratitude on her social media, stating, “I am thankful to be included in the list.”

Jennie recently served as one of Karl Lagerfeld’s last Chanel muses and has been working as a model for Calvin Klein. This year, she collaborated with Calvin Klein, showcasing creative street fashion that quickly sold out, demonstrating her influence.

According to WWD, one of Jennie’s social media posts is valued at $21 million, and according to Launchmetrics, a fashion data analytics provider, her brand collaborations generated $68 million in revenue, explaining the reasons behind Jennie’s selection.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK will wrap up nearly a year of successful concerts with the “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR BORN PINK” performances at Gocheok Sky Dome on the 16th and 17th of this month.
