On March 27 (local time), Billboard reported, “New girl group FIFTY FIFTY debuted at #100 on the ‘HOT 100’, Billboard’s weekly US popular song chart, with their debut single ‘CUPID’.” FIFTY FIFTY has become the fastest K-pop group to enter the Billboard main chart.

FIFTY FIFTY debuted with ‘THE FIFTY’ in November of last year. They achieved the remarkable feat of entering the ‘HOT 100’ on the Billboard main chart with their title track ‘CUPID’ from their first single album ‘The Beginning: Cupid’, just four months after their debut in February 24.

Considering that even the girl group New Jeon So took six months to enter the ‘HOT 100’, this is a noticeable result. This is a faster record than senior artists who previously charted on the ‘HOT 100’, such as Wonder Girls, Twice, BlackPink, and BTS.
