EXO member and actor D.O. (Doh Kyungsoo) is departing from SM Entertainment.
After almost a decade with SM Entertainment, EXO member D.O., known as Doh Kyungsoo, is preparing to leave the agency when his exclusive contract expires in early November. While he plans to continue his music activities with EXO under SM Entertainment, his acting career and personal ventures will be managed independently through a newly established company set up by his former manager. Since making his debut with EXO in 2012, D.O. has made a significant mark in the entertainment industry with his versatile talents, earning recognition for his singing and acting. In addition to his contributions to EXO’s impressive discography, he has taken on various acting roles, with notable appearances in dramas like “It’s Okay, That’s Love” and significant roles in blockbuster films, such as “Swing Kids” and “Along with the Gods.” D.O. is also slated to be part of the cast of a new variety show on tvN called “Kong Kong Pat Pat,” where he will collaborate with fellow entertainers Kim Woo Bin, Kim Ki Bang, and Lee Kwang Soo. This transition marks an exciting new chapter in D.O.’s career, allowing him to explore even more creative avenues and showcase his talents to a broader audience.
