Cherry Bullet Disbands… Contracts End, Pursuing Individual Paths

After 5 years since their debut, the group Cherry Bullet has decided to disband.

On the 22nd, FNC Entertainment announced, “Our company and the members of Cherry Bullet, Haeyoon, Yuju, Bora, Jiwon, Remi, Chaerin, and May, after much contemplation and discussion, officially cease group activities as of today.” They added, “Haeyoon, Jiwon, Remi, and May have decided to terminate their contracts, while Yuju, Bora, and Chaerin will continue their activities as individual artists under FNC Entertainment.”

The agency conveyed their apologies to the fans, saying, “We sincerely apologize for the sudden news to all the fans who have cherished Cherry Bullet. The love and support you have shown to the members will be deeply cherished. Please continue to watch over the members as they embark on new paths, and we kindly ask for warm support for the members who are facing new beginnings.”

Cherry Bullet debuted in January 2019 with the single album ‘Let’s Play Cherry Bullet’. They garnered attention as a rookie girl group from FNC Entertainment, the first since AOA debuted over six years prior. Initially a 10-member group, they reorganized into a 7-member group in December of the same year after the departure of Mirae, Kokoro, and Linlin. They released songs like ‘Hands Up’, ‘Love So Sweet’, ‘Q&A’, and ‘Really Really Like You’. Last summer, Bora, Jiwon, and Chaerin gained attention for participating in Mnet’s ‘Queendom’.
