“Bloodhounds” Tops Netflix Global Rankings, Kim Saeron’s Risk Pays Off

The series “Bloodhounds,” starring Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi, has claimed the top spot in the global rankings on Netflix.

According to Flixpatrol, an OTT ranking aggregation site, on the 16th, “Bloodhounds” secured the first place in the Netflix TV show category. It reached the top 10 in 88 countries worldwide, including South Korea, Japan, France, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Moreover, it achieved the number one position in 22 countries.

Earlier, “Bloodhounds” made a remarkable debut, recording a total viewing time of 27.97 million hours within just three days of its release. It quickly climbed to second place in the Netflix Top 10 TV shows (non-English) category.

The Netflix series revolves around two young individuals entangled in the world of loan sharks, where money takes precedence over human lives. They fight against a formidable evil force, risking their lives. Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi deliver captivating performances, while director Kim Ju-hwan, known for “Youth Police,” “The Lion,” and “Puppy,” helms the production.
