Adapted from the popular Naver web novel of the same name, the film ‘Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint’ has confirmed its cast, including Lee Min-ho, Ahn Hyo-seop, Chae Soo-bin, Shin Seung-ho, Nana, Park Ho-san, Choi Young-jun, and Jisoo. Filming began in December, and the production is progressing swiftly.

‘Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint’ is a movie that follows the journey of Kim Dokja (Ahn Hyo-seop), the only reader who knows the ending, and the protagonist Yoo Joonghyuk (Lee Min-ho), as they strive to save the world in a reality that has collapsed over the past 10 years, similar to a serialized novel. The web novel, which gained popularity with over 2 billion cumulative views since its Naver Series serialization in 2018, is now being adapted into a film.

Set against the backdrop of a fantasy novel where monsters reign and have become a reality, the story unfolds as Kim Dokja, the sole reader who has read the novel to the end, Yoo Joonghyuk, the original protagonist of the novel, and new allies they meet in the transformed world embark on a grand journey to change the ending.

Lee Min-ho portrays Yoo Joonghyuk, the novel’s protagonist with the ability to constantly reincarnate even if he dies. Yoo Joonghyuk is a character who has survived until the end in the collapsed world of the novel, possessing an extraordinary appearance and formidable combat skills.

Ahn Hyo-seop makes his big-screen debut by playing Kim Dokja, the only person who knows the ending of the novel ‘Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint.’ Kim Dokja, an ordinary office worker who becomes immersed in the protagonist Yoo Joonghyuk’s novel, is the only person who has completed reading the serialized novel that no one else reads. In the transformed world from the novel, Kim Dokja is joined by allies on the journey.

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, who previously took the lead role in the drama ‘Snowdrop,’ plays Lee Ji-hye, a companion of Kim Dokja, who overcomes many crises alongside Yoo Joonghyuk with her remarkable combat abilities in the novel.
