Blackpink… First Korean Headliner at Coachella Festival

On April 16th, Blackpink performed at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the largest music festival in the United States, held in Indio, California.

Dressed in outfits that combined their symbolic colors of pink and black, Blackpink opened the show with “Pink Venom.”

They then performed a series of their global hit songs, including “Kill This Love,” “How You Like That,” “Pretty Savage,” “Kick It,” and “Whistle,” heating up the atmosphere with their energetic choreography, powerful live vocals, and eye-catching set design, featuring waving Korean flags.

During their solo performances, each member showcased their unique charms. Jennie proved her stage presence with an unreleased solo track called “You and Me,” while Jisoo showcased the beauty of Korean music with her recent solo debut single “Flower.”

This was Blackpink’s second appearance at Coachella, and they made history as the first Korean headliner at the festival, following their first appearance as the first K-pop girl group to perform there in 2019. They will also headline the British Summer Time Festival in Hyde Park, London in July, becoming the first Korean act to do so.
