ATTRAKT revealed on the 23rd that they have notified the remaining three members of FIFTY FIFTY, Sae-na (Jeong Se-hyun), Sio (Jeong Ji-ho), and Aran (Jeong Eun-ah), about the termination of their exclusive contracts, effective since the 19th of this month. The agency stated, “We have taken action due to the three members of FIFTY FIFTY failing to show any corrective actions or remorse for their significant breaches of the contract,” and further noted that they will discuss future actions regarding the members.
Previously, in June, FIFTY FIFTY had applied for an injunction against ATTRAKT in the Seoul Central District Court to suspend the effects of their exclusive contract. However, in August, the Seoul Central District Court’s Civil Conciliation 50 Division, under Chief Judge Park Beom-seok, rejected the injunction filed by the members of FIFTY FIFTY against ATTRAKT regarding the effectiveness of their exclusive contract. As a result, the members of Fifty Fifty remained under ATTRAKT’s management, but they immediately filed for an appeal.
Then, on the 16th, Kina unexpectedly changed her legal representative to the law firm Bareun and submitted an appeal against the rejection of the injunction request for the effectiveness of the exclusive contract in the Seoul High Court Civil Division 25-2. In a recent interview with Dispatch, it was revealed that the decision to file the lawsuit was proposed by Ahn Seong-il.
