Attract Entertainment Announces New Girl Group Project with Debut Planned for Next Year

Attrakt Entertainment, the agency that discovered the girl group ‘FIFTY FIFTY,’ is embarking on a new girl group project with the goal of debuting them next year. FIFTY FIFTY made K-pop history by entering the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart shortly after their debut, but their activities were temporarily halted due to a contract dispute with Attrakt.

On the 4th of this month, CEO Jeon Hong-jun of Attrakt Entertainment stated, “All members of the new girl group will be selected through audition programs, and every step of the process will be open to the public.”

Audition programs have become a significant avenue for discovering new talents in the world of K-pop’s rookie groups. Attrakt Entertainment intends to differentiate itself by introducing unique planning and production approaches. Most importantly, they are emphasizing the importance of ‘public choice.’

CEO Jeon remarked, “We need to continue creating new content for the company’s future, as a sign of appreciation to our investors who trust us, our hardworking staff, and for the sake of the company’s future. We will keep moving forward, step by step, including the launch of the new girl group, and through various other projects.”

Attrakt Entertainment will unveil the audition schedule sequentially in the coming weeks.
