The group SEVENTEEN is capturing global attention as the first K-pop artist to stand at the UNESCO headquarters. SEVENTEEN arrived in Paris on the 12th for the ‘UNESCO Youth Forum’ special session during the UNESCO General Assembly, drawing a crowd of fans at the local airport. The special session, with 3,600 attendees, quickly sold out after its announcement, marking the highest recruitment in UNESCO’s event history.

UNESCO expressed high expectations for SEVENTEEN’s participation, stating that it would enhance youth dialogue and amplify their voices, playing a crucial role in combining art and action to empower youth beyond simple entertainment. The Korean Minister of Foreign Affairs, Park Jin, also introduced SEVENTEEN during the UNESCO General Assembly’s keynote speech on the 10th, inviting everyone to celebrate the endless potential of future generations.

SEVENTEEN will deliver a speech and perform for about an hour, aligning with the forum’s theme. The session will be live-streamed on UNESCO’s official YouTube channel on the 15th.
